Everywhere you go, there is talk of energy efficiency – and it’s electrifying! This past Tuesday were the midterm elections, where several propositions nationwide were available to help in the fight for clean energy initiatives, and to make energy efficiency and renewable energy possible for the future of our country
Unfortunately, some of these propositions failed. There is still a long way to go to bring awareness to how essential energy efficiency is for homes, businesses, and communities. We understand that right now is a conversation being had about the pros and cons of this movement, one that has defined Emilygrene Corp. from the very beginning.
We think this is an important conversation. Our work is to create opportunities for homeowners, for businesses, for industrial facilities, and anyone else to learn about energy efficiency, to understand what part they can play in modernizing our infrastructure, and to install innovative technologies that in the long run save all of us time, money, and energy.
This month, we are launching Emilygrene Foundation, one of our five core divisions joining Emilygrene Electric, EG Home Theater, and EAC (Emilygrene Air Conditioning & Heating). EG Secure will launch early next year. Emilygrene Foundation will take our community outreach efforts to the next level. Because we honestly believe that while our team is out in the field, there is still work to be done here at home.
Emilygrene Foundation will bring together our #GreenerTogether awareness campaign as well as our new EG Street Team to invite like minded people together to have open discussions about how energy efficiency is impacting their communities, to attend local events and share ideas, to make becoming an activist simple, to demand legislature that benefits everyone, and to make a difference.
We hope you will join our EG Street Team ahead of the launch by visiting www.emilygreneblog.com/greenertogether. As part of this team, you will have access to our Facebook community, as well as several other key resources that will brighten up your day and give you the tools and information you need to start making a change.
One of the successes in this past election was Question 6 in Nevada, that will set the state up for 50 percent renewable energy by 2030. That is a step in the right direction, followed by the passing of SB 100 in California earlier this year. This is only possible because of people like you. There will be more elections, more propositions, and more opportunities so long as we keep the conversation alive.
So talk to us. On Facebook, Instagram, Twitter. In person, by making an appointment at www.emilygrene.com/appointment, through our EG Street Team, or give us a call at 626 – 513 – 8705. Tell us how we are doing with a review, tell us what we can do better, and tell us if you are ready to #GOGRENE with any of our services. We are your partners from day one.
There’s a shift happening in our country toward “going green,” slowly but definitely. And it’s electrifying!
